Fall is upon us, and the change of seasons means that there are new creatures to find. Let's figure out how these new arrivals fit into the autumn Sheldrake ecosystem and what new Envirénmons we can find as we explore! Fall is an exciting time of year to get out and see birds! All ages are invited to explore Sheldrake with our naturalist in search of resident and migrating birds. Use binoculars, your eyes, and your ears to find and identify birds, and learn about their behaviors in autumn. Early morning is the best time for bird-watching! Bring binoculars if you have. This pre-Halloween family program may dispel some myths about bats. After reading a story about bats, looking at photos of all different kinds of bats, and making a bat craft, we will go on a hike and look for signs of these and other creatures of the night.
