The Nourished Woman Retreat – 2019

Commit to an afternoon of nourishment and self-care. Savor the beauty of spring, while boosting your immunity and improving your mood. During this retreat, you’ll tune in to the textures, smells, and sights around you, clearing the clutter from your mind and reaping the healing benefits of nature.
The 4-hour retreat will include a guided mindful forest walk and nature meditation (led by Cindy Olsen), Nature Journaling (led by Michelle Levy), Sound Healing (led by Jennifer Vagios), Yoga (led by Brittany Clarke). Plus healing foods and drinks will be provided (led by Jen Dorf).
Early-bird registration special of $70 for members and $90 for non-members on or before April 12. $80 for members and $100 for non-members after 4/12/19. Please register below to secure your spot; space is limited.

About Our Guides
Brittany Clarke first started doing yoga when she was in high school and eventually completed the 200-hour and Kids Yoga Teacher Training programs at Yoga Haven. She teaches a Vinyasa style of yoga that’s accessible to all levels, ages, and body types. Brittany spent her childhood living and playing on the Sheldrake property and shares a special connection with the land there.
Jen Dorf, founder of Jen Dorf Wellness Mind-Body Nourishment, is an Integrative Nutrition and Mindfulness Coach in Mamaroneck, New York. She received her certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and participated in the acclaimed “Food as Medicine” training through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine. In addition, Jen has studied Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Jen is the co-founder of the Crunchy Carnival in the Larchmont-Mamaroneck school district, where she educated elementary-school students and their families about how to prioritize healthy eating and living in a fun and sustainable way. Since the inception of Jen Dorf Wellness ten years ago, Jen has created numerous programs to help thousands of private, group, and corporate clients make small changes to provide long-term results for increased joy and overall enhanced well-being. www.jendorfwellness.com
Michelle Levy is a freelance book editor for international clientele, who also teaches creative writing in Westchester County, New York. She holds an M.A. in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University and an Editing Certificate from the University of Chicago Publishing Program. She earned her B.A. in English and Psychology at New York University. Michelle worked for five years as a Development Editor at McGraw-Hill and for five years as a Development Editor at Fairchild Books, a subsidiary of Condé Nast. Cindy Olsen is a Nature Educator and Mindful Outdoor Guide in Westchester County, New York. She has been an Environmental Educator with Sheldrake Environmental Center in Larchmont, New York, since 2012. In this role, Cindy works with private and public schools, as well as families, to deliver nature education and connect youth and families with the outdoors. Cindy is also a certified Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide. She is passionate about sharing the powerful physical and mental benefits of nature and mindfulness with others. She recently founded Cindy By Nature, LLC in order to expand the reach of her commitment to sharing nature connection with the region. She leads programs for Sheldrake on a weekly and monthly basis, and runs mindful outdoor programs for various schools, organizations, and private clients.
Jennifer Vagios has been in the field of health and wellness for more than 15 years and has developed a holistic approach to health. Jen is a 500-hour+ ISHTA-trained yoga teacher who holds a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in Applied Physiology and Nutrition. She is also a Sound Healer using primarily Tibetan and Crystal Singing bowls but also her voice and other instruments. She was listed in “Teachers We Love” in NY Yoga + Life Magazine and has been featured in Yoga Journal, Food Network Healthy Eats blog, Disney Baby, Food Press, and more. Jen was also the musician/sound bath orchestrator at the Deepak Chopra Homebase for the annual ISHTA yoga Sankalpa Event. www.jennifervagios.com
