Trees, Wonderful Trees

Who cleans our air, prevents flooding, and provides food and shelter for many animals? Trees are our silent friends — let’s get to know them better! We’ll walk around our pond on a tree hunt — and learn how to identify them using leaves, seeds and bark.

Meet at Sheldrake main building at 685 Weaver Street
Free for members (and children under 2)
$5 per person for non-members

Year round, Sheldrake Environmental Center offers monthly guided Neighborhood Nature walks; in the springtime join us for  compost bin sales and workshops, along with Earth Day clean-ups; and in the fall, we have our Fall Festival and International Coastal Clean Up.  Use the listing below to find the kind of events you would like to enjoy at Sheldrake Environmental Center.
