
Nature Bugs Early Winter

Explore Sheldrake’s 60 acres while searching for signs of wintering plants and animals. Each week, we’ll embark on a new adventure, complemented by stories crafts, games, and other nature-themed activities. Class is held entirely outdoors, with nature as our classroom.
Dates: Fridays – December 18-January 29 (no class 12/25 or 1/1) (5 sessions)
Time: 1:00-2:00 pm
For ages: 3-5 (this is a drop-off program)
Fee: $110 for members, $125 for non-members
COVID-19 Precautions: All participants are required to wear masks, complete daily health screeners, have their temperature taken daily, and sign a waiver at the outset of the program. Classes are conducted entirely outdoors, including in mildly inclement weather (any canceled classes will be made up in February). Group size is limited.

Year round, Sheldrake Environmental Center offers monthly guided Neighborhood Nature walks; in the springtime join us for compost bin sales and workshops, along with Earth Day clean-ups; and in the fall, we have our Fall Festival and International Coastal Clean Up.
