Little Critters – Early Winter
December 2, 2020 @ 1:30 pm - January 27, 2021 @ 2:30 pm
Keep little ones active this winter at Sheldrake’s all-outdoor nature program. Through weekly adventures, preschoolers will engage in STEM enrichment, connection with nature, and the company of other young enthusiasts. Wending through Sheldrake’s 60 acres, we’ll observe the effects of winter’s chill on the natural world.
Our Little Critters:
- get first-hand experience with science and nature
- learn about birds, insects, seeds, trees, and other natural wonders
- enjoy the outdoors as they walk the trails of a 60-acre conservancy
- have fun with nature games and other activities
Dates: Wednesdays – December 2-January 27 (no class 12/23 or 12/30) (7 sessions)
Time: 1:30-2:30 pm
For ages: 3-5 (drop-off program)
Fee: $155 for members, $175 for non-members
COVID-19 Precautions: All participants are required to wear masks, complete daily health screeners, have their temperature taken daily, and sign a waiver at the outset of the program. Classes are conducted entirely outdoors, including in mildly inclement weather (any canceled classes will be made up in February). Attendance is limited.
