Animal Tracks and Traces
January 3, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Have you ever wondered what animal made those tracks? Who is traveling on the trails or through your yard? Come find out how to solve these mysteries. We’ll spend some time inside learning about animal tracks and even make some of our own. Then, we’ll head outside and explore Sheldrake, looking for tracks and signs of rabbits, deer, squirrels, and other animals. Learn what tracks can tell us about which animals are active during the winter, where they go and how they survive.
Note: Participants should come dressed for the elements, including possibly muddy conditions. Should the weather truly not cooperate, the program will be held indoors.
$20 per family.
Registration for this program is now full. Please email scheduling@sheldrakecenter.org or call (914) 834-1443 to be added to the wait list.
