Winter 2008 Nature Classes for Children
Pre-registration required for all programs

Mommy & Me Nature Class
Tuesdays, January 13th – March 10th (no class 2/17)
Thursdays, January 15th – March 12th (no class 2/19)
10:30-11:30am or 1:00-2:00pm
$104 members, $120 non-members

Young children learn about the wonders of nature with an adult accompanying each child. These 8 sessions include a story to introduce a theme, a craft and a nature walk. Classes meet in the yellow potting shed at 687 Weaver Street in Larchmont. Ages 3 to 5.

Pre-K Nature Class Drop-Off Program
Mondays, January 12th – March 16th (no class 1/19 and 2/16)
10am-12pm or 12:45-2:45pm
Tuesdays, January 13th – March 17th (no class 2/17)
10am-12pm
Wednesdays, January 14th – March 18th (no class 2/18)
10am-12pm or 12:45-2:45pm

Add fun discoveries to your child’s day with a hands-on exploration of the natural world.  Arts & crafts, walks, experiments, stories and games are designed to bring out the natural curiosity in your pre-schooler. This program will be held in the Sheldrake main building in the downstairs classroom. 8 sessions for Monday program, 9 sessions for other days. Snack provided. Ages 4 to 5. See registration form.

After-School Nature Club
Tuesdays, January 13th – March 17th (no class 2/17)
12:45-2:45pm for kindergarteners; 3:15-5:15pm for 3^rd & 4^th graders
Wednesdays, January 14th – March 18th (no class 2/18)

An introduction to the wonders of Sheldrake through experiments, hikes, art, “eco-dramas,” live creatures and other exciting environmental activities. This program will be held in the Sheldrake main building in the downstairs classroom. 9 sessions. Snack provided.  See registration form.

Vacation Clubs

Give the children something to look forward to on their days off! Register them now for our theme vacation clubs which will titillate them with the wonders of our natural world. Snack provided.
