Spring Guided Mindful Hiking Series
May 3 @ 1:00 pm - May 24 @ 2:00 pm
Physical activity, beautiful spring scenery. Who doesn’t like an occasional hike in the great outdoors? Add an extra awareness to your experience and your outing can benefit both your mind and body. Being outdoors increases well-being, immunity, helps alleviate stress and anxiety, promotes creativity, assists with recovery from mental fatigue, helps restore attention, boosts the brain’s ability to think and engages the senses. We’ll be exploring the Sheldrake property over a 4 week period with guided mindful hikes and exercises. This series runs on Thursday, May 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 1 pm to 2 pm. This program is free for Members and $20 for the series for non-members. Please register below.
Year round, Sheldrake Environmental Center offers monthly guided Neighborhood Nature walks; in the springtime join us for compost bin sales and workshops, along with Earth Day clean-ups; and in the fall, we have our Fall Festival and International Coastal Clean Up.
