Nature Detectives – Sep-Nov 2020
September 16 @ 3:30 pm - November 4 @ 4:30 pm
Observe the transition from summer to fall with weekly adventures at Sheldrake. Children can enjoy being nature detectives as they study life under logs, leaves changing colors, changing temperatures, and animal adaptations. Our all-outdoor nature program gives school-aged children the opportunity for STEM enrichment, connection with nature, and the company of other young enthusiasts.
Children will be provided with a backpack and nature journal, to be brought to each class with their own writing instruments from home.
Our Nature Detectives:
- get first-hand experience with science and nature
- learn about birds, insects, seeds, trees, and other natural wonders
- enjoy the outdoors as they explore the trails of a 60-acre conservancy
- have fun with nature games and other activities
Dates: Wednesdays – September 16-November 4 (8 sessions)
Time: 3:30-4:30 pm
For ages: 6-9
Fee: $175 for members, $200 for non-members
