Guided Mindfulness Hikes – Summer Series
June 27 @ 10:00 am - August 8 @ 11:00 am
New season, new program, new location, new time…
…and new award!
Join us for the Summer Guided Mindfulness Hike Series at Sheldrake. We’ll be starting from a new entrance to the forest and have new locations to explore and deepen our connection with nature. Our tea ceremony will adapt to the warm weather by transitioning to iced tea offerings that are based on local seasonal flora. Our wool blankets will have a rest and will be replaced with fresh white Turkish towels for our sit spots.
We’re thrilled to have had this program recognized by Westchester Magazine‘s Best of Westchester awards in the category of Unique Outdoor Hike!
Over the past several months, Cindy Olsen, Kripalu Certified Outdoor Mindful Guide, has been exploring new ways to foster our connection with nature and to help participants receive all the benefits form this connection for mind and body. Come try something new with a mindful walk and forest connection activities. For adults.
6 sessions: Thursdays, 10:00-11:00 am – June 27, July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8 (no hike on July 4).
